Disco Damage happened in 2007 when a musician from Buenos Aires (Laura Fares) bumped into a writer from Belfast (Kristin Neely), with a mutual love of the Electronic sounds from samples of the 80’s to synths from the 90’s and new sounds from the naughties. The result of this collision is a dynamic duo whose sound has been linked to that of artists from Kraftwerk to Tiga.

2011 will see another Disco Damage release from New York Based Label Kinetika Records as their single “Bitch” hits the digital dashboards of iTunes, Beatport, Juno and more with Remixes from masters like Per QX and new players like TNTT. The track has already caused a bit of a stir whilst being played out around Europe in recent months as part of the Duo’s renowned DJ sets.

Currently through to the 2011 Finals of the People’s Music Awards (Dance /Electronica Category), they were also crowned winners of the Pepsi Max Cast New Music Award in 2009 and are no strangers to good news.
